This week 15 Indian startups raised funding, of which 11 received a total sum of about $145 million. Among them, Toppr raised the highest funding of about $47 million followed by ShareChat, which raised $40 million.
Meanwhile, funding for 4 of the total funded startups remained undisclosed.
Below is the summary of deals closed this week
Toppr: Edtech startup Toppr has raised $47 million in its Series D funding round led by Foundation Holdings. Existing backer Kaizen Private Equity also participated in the latest round.
Rebel Foods: Full stack foodtech company, Rebel Foods has received $26.5 million (Rs 198.85 crore) from Coatue Management in the extended Series E round. In April, it had raised $50 million from the US-based hedge fund and the latest tranche is part of the round.
Hevo Data: Cloud-based data-integration platform, Hevo Data has secured $8 million in its Series A funding round led by Singapore-based VC firm Qualgro and angel investor, Lachy Groom. Existing investors including Chiratae Ventures and Sequoia Capital Surge also backed the company in the latest round.
BulBul: Social commerce startup BulBul has raised $8.7 million in a round led by Info Edge. While Info Edge invested around $6.63 million, the remaining sum poured in by the existing investors that include Sequoia and Leo Capital.
ShareChat: Vernacular language social media platform ShareChat has raised $40 million in an internal financing round from existing investors including Lightspeed India.
Treebo: Budget hotel brand, Treebo has raised a $1.3 million worth tranche from a list of marquee angel investors as a part of its ongoing Series D round.
Ustraa: IIFL Group’s second seed fund has invested $6.6 million in men’s grooming startup Happily Unmarried Marketing, which sells products online under the brand name of Ustraa.
Muse Wearables: Bengaluru-based hybrid smartwatches selling startup, Muse Wearables has raised $2.93 million in funding from new and existing investors.
Firescore: Mobile game development studio, Firescore has raised $0.5 million in a funding round led by multinational studio and publisher CrazyLabs.
Wellcure: Health-technology platform, Wellcure has secured seed funding of $0.2 million from Inflection Point (IP) Ventures.
Delightree: Workflow automation app for businesses, Delightree has raised $3 million in a seed round from Accel Partners, Emergent Ventures, Brainstorm Ventures, Axilor Ventures, and Alchemist Accelerator.
Undisclosed deals this week
Haqdarshak, Rekla, Datstop and WYN Studio did not disclose their financial details.
