Zomato has launched 15-minute food delivery in select cities. The Gurugram-based company will join over half a dozen others that have entered the quick food delivery space in recent months.

Several users have noticed the 15-minute delivery feature on Zomato’s main app. However, the company, led by Deepinder Goyal, has yet to announce it officially.

Zomato discontinued its 10-minute delivery service in January 2023, a year after piloting it in Bengaluru, Gurugram, and parts of Delhi. Meanwhile, Zomato-owned Blinkit launched its 10-minute food delivery service, Bistro, last month.

The instant food delivery market is heating up, with Zomato's arch-rival Swiggy already in the space through Bolt. Meanwhile, Zepto is preparing to roll out a dedicated app for Zepto Cafe, offering 10-minute food deliveries.

Magicpin was the latest entrant in the quick food delivery space, while emerging players such as Swish and Zing are also gaining traction.
